  • Rotary dial Trimphone Ivory

Designed for the GPO in 1966 by Martin Rowlands- so over 50 years ago.

The original rotary dial Trimphone was the first telephone to have an electronic ringer and was the GPOs first designer telephone.Though described as ivory by the GPO they tend to be quite beige. They have cadescent ringing getting louder till answered.

This is a generic picture. These  telephones have  discolouration due to age and the consequent action of the sun .They tend to have a darker uniform colour when the handset is on the body of the phone, when the handset is lifted the body is lighter under it. They come fully tested and working and with a one year guarantee and an optional further 3 year guarantee.
